There are no refunds,but we will give
credit for future reservations. This
credit must be used no later than one
year from the original reservation

Villas Alturas Costa Rica Resort is located in the hills 7
kilometers South of Playa Dominical and 10 kilometers
North of Uvita, 50 minutes South of Quepos Airport, 45
minutes North of Palmar Sur Airport. With a spectacular
ocean view of Isla Del Cano biological reserve in the
distance.
Villas Alturas Costa Rica Resort consists of seven
individual deluxe Villas with a combined total of 12
bedrooms + 6 sofas that convert to futons to
accommodate up to 36 persons. Villa #7 is handicap
accessible near the Pool House for easy access to the
bar,restaurant and pool..
Each Villa has a spectacular ocean view of the ocean
and Punta Uvita (also known as the Whales tail).
We have air conditioning,kitchen,hot water,
large covered veranda, washer
and dryer available,easy access to the spacious
communal pool and a gas grill (BBQ) available for your
use.
Skylynx Communications,Wi-Fi web connections in
pool house for, laptop computers. And High Speed
Internet is available.

All of the above makes Villas Alturas ideal for a
corporate retreat , family reunions Etc etc.
As an alternative to self catering holiday
we have all inclusive packages for larger groups.
Helicopter Shuttle is available from San Jose Airport
to
Villas Alturas Costa Rica Resort.
There are a wide variety of birds attracted by the fruit
trees around the Villas,including Toucans and
Toucanets.
The white face monkeys sometimes pass by in their
search for food. In the morning you hear the howler
monkeys in the forest above.
Twelve kilometers south of Villas Alturas is Parque
Nacional Marino Ballena(national underwater park)
which has several coral reefs teeming with tropical
fish for great snorkeling.In the park is Playa Uvita
which is in the top six most beautiful beaches in Costa
Rica .

Rincon de Uvita, the new sports complex just
completed across the Costenera highway from the
Banco Costa Rica in Uvita.

Humpback whales are the species that visits Costa
Rica’s coasts from August-October (Southern
Hemisphere whales) and from December-April
(Northern Hemisphere whales). Drake Bay and the
Caño Island National Park in the southern Pacific coast
are natural mating sites for these whales between
November and March.
There are 3 species of whales:
False Killer whale,
Pilot whale and
Humpback whale.
There are 5 species of dolphins:
Spotted dolphin,
Spinner dolphin,
Bottle nose dolphin known as "Flipper",
Common Dolphin.
Sometimes you can see Orcas.
Corcavado & Caño Island At Sirena Biological Station.
Are some of the tours and places you can enjoy.
Close by there are horse back waterfall tours and
sightseeing tours.
Dominical has several restaurants to choose from.
Dominical also has a Spanish School, Surf School and
various small shops.
Dominical is famous for large, year-round waves and is
well-known by most surfers in Costa Rica
Uvita has several grocery stores and restaurants.
Uvita also has two department stores.
Sport fishing ,diving,snorkeling and birdwatching are a
few more of the many activities.
Or you can relax in the pool and enjoy the view.
Directions
Villas Alturas is 7 kilometers south of Dominical,
5 minutes from the paved coastal highway,
The entrance is on the left 700 meters past the 150KM
highway marker. Continue up the hill till you arrive at
Villas Alturas.The road is 4x4 cars only.
